How It Works

Students interested in learning a new language or in beginning Math lessons will be provided a syllabus to go over the material. In case of specific lessons, the instructor will provide a syllabus of the course.

New courses last from a month (for intensive courses) to three months (for a trimester course).

For students registered in an intensive course

An intensive course lasts four (4) weeks with classes meeting five (5) hours a week.

Total hours of class meetings = 20 hours a month.

For students registered in a trimester course

A trimester course lasts three (3) months.

Students will meet two (2) hours a week in addition to an online activity presence.

A total of 24 hours per level is required to move to the next level of learning.

NOTE: Students do not receive any degree from TUTORLINE. We are not a degree-granting institution. However, we give a certificate of completion at the end of each level of study.

Each course has 5 levels for a complete course mastery.

• Level 1: Novice (student has no prior knowledge of the language)
• Level 2: Beginner (student can recognize the language but does not know it)
• Level 3: Intermediate
• Level 4: Advanced
• Level 5: Conversant

Course Duration

Each level lasts a trimester or 24 hours. Students taking the intensive format will need to have completed 24 hours of classes before moving to the next level. A student completing all four levels will accrue 120 hours of contents, in the languages.

Delivery Method

Each course is delivered via Zoom. Students will log into zoom at the time set in agreement with the instructor. Student must have Zoom downloaded on their device of choice (laptop, desktop, cell phone, etc.)

Registration Periods

There are three registration periods: August, December, and April.

• August registration covers classes in September, October, and November.
• December registration covers classes in January, February, and March.
• April registration covers classes in May, June, and July.

Tuition (Individual Tutoring)

There is a one-time registration fee of $10. This fee is non-refundable. The registration fee is payable online when students register at www.tutorline.us

Each class lasts 50 minutes and costs $35. Students pay the $35 before taking any class or before their tutoring session. A student willing to take four tutoring sessions must pay all four sessions before receiving the service. Students willing to take all 24 hours per trimester must pay $840 before beginning the tutoring sessions.

Payment must be made up to a week before classes begin. There is no refund. Students who miss their classes or tutoring sessions will not receive a refund. Tutorline reserves the right to revise its payment amount and policy. All stakeholders will be notified in due to time when costs of service change.

Tuition (For the language Courses)

There is a one-time registration fee of $10. This fee is non-refundable. The registration fee is payable online when students register on www.tutorline.us. Each trimester costs $610 per student. (registration fees are included).

A student willing to take 4 intensive classes must pay all four sessions before receiving the service. Student willing to take all 24 hours per trimester must pay $610 before beginning the course.

Payment must be made up to a week before classes begin. Payments made prior to class are refundable if the student has not started the course. Once the course has started and the students has participated in ONE class, no payment is refundable. Students who miss their classes or tutoring sessions will not receive a refund. Tutorline reserves the right to revise its payment amount and policy. All stakeholders will be notified in due to time when costs of service change.

Dispute Resolution

Tutorline.us will do its best to accommodate and abide by its commitment to serve each student in a very professional manner. Should a conflict or misunderstanding arise, both parties (student and tutorline) will solve it to the best interest of both. It is imperative to know that any fees paid to tutorline are non-refundable. Students who are scheduled for a tutoring or class sessions and miss such sessions will not receive a refund. Tutorline is committed to abide by the best business practices in the profession.
Students and tutorline will resolve any issue by talking to each other or through third-party mediation if needed.
