Sylvain Poosson, Ph.D.
Dr. Sylvain Poosson has been teaching Spanish and French for 26 years. He has graduated from many prestigious schools: The Escuela Diplomática de Madrid (Spain); Summer School of Languages in Lisbon (Portugal); the University of Montpellier III (France); and the University of Virginia (USA), where he obtained his Ph.D. in Latin American Literature. Discovering and sharing international cultures has driven him to places like Peru, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. While living and studying in Europe, Dr. Poosson immersed himself into Spanish and French traditions and cultures and enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of Italy, Portugal, and Belgium.
Dr. Poosson has received numerous recognitions throughout his career, including Best Teacher of the Year award. An avid learner, Dr. Poosson also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly known as UMUC). He is a published author also currently finishing a book on France’s political impact on African nations. Dr. Poosson has co-founded a University in Cote d’Ivoire (American University of Cote d’Ivoire) where youth are taught business management skills and good world citizenship, among other meaningful subjects.
A true polyglot, Dr. Poosson founded Tutorline to give opportunities to everyone willing to learn other languages that they might use either for pleasure or for work around the world. We added an invitation to acquire math skills because many students struggle to understand that subject matter.
Either you are learning for personal reasons or for work, Tutorline has chosen the best teachers to help you grow beyond the classroom.
