Online Spanish Language Courses

Learn Spanish faster and more meaningfully by taking an extended online course with a live teacher.

About 460 million people speak Spanish in the world. It’s the second most-spoken language after Chinese and the official language of 20 countries, as well as Puerto Rico. Although it’s not an official language, Spanish is also commonly spoken in the United States, Belize, Andorra and Gibraltar. It is one of the most useful languages for business and world travel.

Students interested in learning a new language will be provided a syllabus to go over the material. New courses last from a month (for intensive courses) to three months (for a trimester course).

Levels of Study

Each course has 5 levels for a complete course mastery:

Level 1: Novice (has no prior knowledge of the language)
Level 2: Beginner (has some knowledge)
Level 3: Intermediate
Level 4: Advanced
Level 5 : Conversant

Each level lasts a trimester (2 meetings per week for three months) Each meeting lasts an hour. Students taking the intensive format will need to have completed 24 hours before moving to the next level. A student completing all five levels will accrue 120 hours of contents in the language.

Once you finish Level 5, you can register for a permanent conversation class with the instructor through the year (except in December). You can meet with the instructor once a week to refresh and keep using the language.
